Meet Briana
Welcome! I'm Briana. My husband, family, and friends call me Bri, and our black labrador Walter calls me Mama :)
I'm the designer, photographer, and redhead behind The Yellow Note. I believe that texting is nice, but sending a letter is better. That face time on the back porch beats FaceTime on the iPhone. That road trips are better than hopping a plane, pies are better than cakes, and planning (parties, vacations, adventures) is half the fun.
My husband Tom and I and our pup live in an old craftsman cottage in Glens Falls, New York - affectionately known as Hometown USA. We prefer small town charm over big cities any day, and love the nostalgia of sidewalked streets and neighbors that drop by to borrow a cup of milk.
About The Yellow Note
I created The Yellow Note in 2013 as a stationery and party goods shop designed to inspire connection, be it through good old fashioned mail or back porch gatherings. Over time, the brand has evolved into a multifaceted creative studio, including travel and lifestyle content creation and photography. Notable features include Country Living Magazine, Domino Magazine, One Kings Lane, Family Circle Magazine, and more.
Why The Yellow Note? The name was inspired by the countless notes my dad has given me through the years, always handwritten on yellow steno paper. Birthdays, special milestones, or just because - a yellow note has always made me smile. My hope is to inspire that same feeling of connectedness and tradition that a yellow note has always sparked in me - consider this site my personal yellow note to you.
